The waiting is over!

We know you’ve been waiting and we are excited to share with you the last release of 2017: Xray 3.0! We thank you for your valuable and much useful feedback because version 3.0 introduces some of the most requested features by our customers.

With more than 100 features and enhancements, Xray 3.0 brings some features like:

Xray 3.0 introduces a much more detailed organization both at the project level and at the Test Plan level, via the Test Repository and the Test Plan Board, which can be enabled or disabled.

Another new functionality in Xray 3.0 is the possibility to import tests from HP ALM/QC’s. By using the HP ALM/QC credentials and project details, users are guided through a simple wizard interface to import tests with the customized Jira Importer (JIM).

As you can imagine by now, this version focused on improving organization, planning and execution of tests and in tracking their progress through time and we’re sure it will meet a lot of the needs of our testers and users of Jira.

Don’t forget that besides supporting manual tests, Xray also supports automated tests that can be run with Cucumber and can be integrated with other test automation frameworks like JUnit, NUnit or Robot.
